The route leaves Morata de Tajuña, climbs to Chinchón and continues to Colmenar de Oreja, ending in Villarejo de Salvanés. It uses the M-311, M-404 and M-302, simple local roads that link the towns of Las Vegas.
It crosses the municipalities of Morata de Tajuña, Chinchón, Colmenar de Oreja, Belmonte de Tajo and Villarejo de Salvanés. The scenery alternates between the Tajuña valley and the high plateau, among olive groves and farmland, with stone towns and main squares. The Plaza Mayor of Chinchón is the obvious stop, and Colmenar de Oreja is also worth some time.
It is about 36 km and almost an hour without stops, with few bends (around 38), all gentle and with no hairpins. Altitude ranges from about 530 m to 786 m. It is a ride to take without hurry, not one for chasing bends. Expect town crossings and farm machinery on the road, and in summer the heat on the plateau is intense.
