The route leaves Montejo de la Sierra and, on the M-137 and M-130, passes Prádena del Rincón and climbs to the Puerto de la Puebla. From there it drops to Puebla de la Sierra and follows the valley to Robledillo de la Jara. It is a road to ride calmly, with no hurry to get anywhere.
It crosses the municipalities of Montejo de la Sierra, Prádena del Rincón, Puebla de la Sierra and Robledillo de la Jara, in the Sierra del Rincón, a remote part of the Sierra Norte. The scenery is mountain country, with oak and pine woods and small stone villages. Near Montejo is the Hayedo de Montejo, a beech wood well worth a visit.
It is about 39 km and a little over an hour and a quarter without stops, with more than 160 bends and twelve hairpins. Altitude ranges from just over 1,000 m to 1,642 m. The road is narrow and in places there is little room for two vehicles to pass. Livestock on the road is common and there may be gravel or dirt: take blind bends slowly.
