A ride through the heart of the Sierra Norte de Sevilla linking three of its main villages. It leaves El Pedroso on the A-432 to Cazalla de la Sierra and from there follows the A-455 to finish in Constantina. It is a good route to link with other roads in the hills or for a short outing from Seville.
The landscape is classic Sierra Morena: dehesa of holm and cork oaks, hillside olive groves, chestnuts on the higher ground and streams between rolling hills. The road climbs and dips through bends, with faster sections and tighter ones, crossing the municipalities of El Pedroso, Cazalla de la Sierra and Constantina, within the Sierra Norte de Sevilla Natural Park area.
It covers about 37 km and around an hour without stops. Altitude ranges from about 310 m to about 620 m, with no major passes but constant ups and downs. It is an area with lots of wildlife and livestock: watch for animals on the road, especially at dawn and dusk, and for gravel on the bends. All three villages have services, but there is little in between.
