Altitude profile193–586 m

The route leaves Artana and follows the CV-223 into the hills. It passes Eslida, climbs to the Port d'Aín and descends through Alcudia de Veo and Tales to Onda. It is a one-way ride through the heart of the Serra d'Espadà, and at Onda it links with the Mijares road towards Montanejos.

The whole ride stays in the Plana Baixa, through the municipalities of Artana, Eslida, Aín, Alcudia de Veo, Tales and Onda, within the Parque Natural de la Serra d'Espadà. It is a very green range by local standards, with cork oaks, pine woods and ravines, and small villages on the slopes. The road is narrow and changes direction constantly, with a lively rhythm but no speed.

It is about 28 km and around 50 minutes without stops, with some 105 bends and a couple of hairpins. Altitude ranges from about 190 m to about 590 m at the pass. On many stretches there is little room for two vehicles and visibility is short, so watch for oncoming traffic. There may be leaves, damp or gravel on shaded bends, and cyclists at weekends.
