The route leaves L'Alcora and takes the CV-190, which climbs through Figueroles to Llucena. From there it joins the CV-165 and continues through Costur and Les Useres to Atzeneta del Maestrat, where it ends within sight of the Penyagolosa.
The ride passes through the municipalities of L'Alcora, Figueroles, Llucena, Costur, Les Useres and Atzeneta del Maestrat, between l'Alcalatén and l'Alt Maestrat. L'Alcora is known for its ceramics tradition, and beyond it the landscape turns to mid-mountain country: ravines, terraces, pine woods and scattered farmhouses. What makes it special is the rhythm: continuous bends, no hairpins and very little traffic.
It is about 46 km and a little over an hour and a quarter without stops, with around 170 bends and no hairpins. Altitude ranges from about 240 m to about 580 m. These are quiet local roads; there may be gravel on the bends and farm machinery. Around L'Alcora there are more lorries because of the ceramics industry.
