The route leaves Bétera and follows the CV-310 through Náquera to Serra, where the road starts climbing towards the Port de l'Oronet. After the pass it drops towards Torres Torres, partly on the CV-336. Being so close to València it is a weekend classic, and it can be ridden there and back or linked with other roads in the range.
The ride crosses the Parque Natural de la Serra Calderona through the municipalities of Bétera, Náquera, Serra, Torres Torres and Algimia de Alfara, finishing in the Camp de Morvedre. The climb to the pass runs through pine woods and scrub, with views towards the plain and the sea on the open stretches. The bends are varied, without long runs of hairpins, and the layout suits a relaxed pace.
It is about 27 km and a little under an hour without stops, with some 75 bends and a couple of hairpins. Altitude ranges from about 90 m to about 500 m at the pass. It is a very busy road with cyclists and other riders, especially on weekend mornings: only overtake with plenty of room and do not treat it as a track. There may be damp or gravel on shaded bends.
