The loop starts and ends in Morella, the walled town that dominates the district. It first drops to Forcall, where rivers meet, and continues to Todolella and Olocau del Rey on very quiet inland roads.
From Olocau del Rey the route passes La Mata de Morella and Cinctorres, among mesas, ravines and farmhouses, and returns to Morella on the CV-14 and local roads. The whole loop is in Els Ports, one of the emptiest and quietest parts of Castellón.
It is about 67 km and almost two and a half hours without stops, with around 240 bends and six hairpins. Altitude ranges from about 680 m to 1,100 m. The area is cold and windy: even in summer it is worth taking an extra layer.
