The loop starts and ends in Náquera. It follows the CV-310 to Serra and climbs through the hills to the Port de l'Oronet, then drops down towards Torres Torres. From there it returns on the N-234 and CV-334 through Estivella and Albalat dels Tarongers to Náquera.
The ride crosses the Serra Calderona Natural Park through the municipalities of Náquera, Serra, Torres Torres, Algimia d'Alfara, Estivella and Albalat dels Tarongers, between the Camp de Túria and the Camp de Morvedre. The climb to the Oronet runs through pine woods and scrub, with views over the farmland and the sea, and the descent leads into the Palancia valley, with orange groves and small villages. What makes it special is having a proper mountain pass so close to Valencia.
It is about 43 km and almost an hour and a half without stops, with around 145 bends and five hairpins. Altitude ranges from about 90 m to about 600 m. The climb to the Oronet is very popular with cyclists, especially at weekends: only overtake with clear visibility and plenty of room. The N-234 stretch is busier, with lorries.
