The loop starts and ends in Chelva. It heads down the CV-35 to Calles and continues through Domeño and Losa del Obispo to Chulilla. From there it climbs towards Villar del Arzobispo and Higueruelas on the CV-345, CV-394 and CV-347, and returns to Chelva on the CV-35.
The whole ride is in the Serranía, through the municipalities of Chelva, Calles, Domeño, Losa del Obispo, Chulilla, Villar del Arzobispo, Higueruelas and Andilla. The first half follows the Turia valley, with market gardens, pine woods and villages above the river; Chulilla, perched above the Turia gorge, is one of the most striking villages in the province. The return via Villar and Higueruelas gains height among vineyards and scrub, with open views across the district.
It is about 75 km and a little over two hours without stops, with around 160 bends and no hairpins. Altitude ranges from about 280 m to about 780 m. Traffic is light on weekdays; at weekends there are more visitors around Chulilla. Watch for gravel on the bends and for farm machinery.
