The loop starts and ends in Vilafamés. It climbs towards Vall d'Alba and Les Useres on the CV-160 and CV-165, continues to Costur and drops down to L'Alcora on the CV-190. It returns to Vilafamés via Sant Joan de Moró on the CV-159, CV-162 and CV-1620.
The ride passes through the municipalities of Vilafamés, Vall d'Alba, Les Useres, Costur, L'Alcora and Sant Joan de Moró, between the Plana Alta and l'Alcalatén. Vilafamés, with its old town on a reddish rock outcrop, is one of the prettiest villages in Castellón. The rest is dry farmland with olive, almond and carob trees, and low hills with linked bends.
It is about 55 km and a little over an hour and a half without stops, with around 130 bends and no hairpins. Altitude ranges from about 130 m to about 470 m. It is an easy loop close to Castelló de la Plana; around L'Alcora and Sant Joan de Moró there is more traffic and lorries because of the ceramics industry.
